About Seemanchal Library Foundation

Seemanchal Library Foundation is a non-profit organization founded by dedicated youth from the community. Our mission is to establish libraries, organize book exhibitions, and engage in various activities in the remote rural areas of Kishanganj district. We are committed to bringing underprivileged children into the world of books, offering free education and access to knowledge. Since 2021, we’ve established two permanent community libraries, the Fatima Sheikh Library and the Savitri Bai Phule Library and Community Centre in Kishanganj. Our work has positively impacted over 700 children, particularly girls from Dalit and Muslim minority backgrounds. Join us in our quest for a better future for these children and society as a whole.
